Compression jointing systems have been continuously developed and improved for over fifty years to the point where they are, in the hands of the competent, professional installer, utterly reliable.
Compression joints are made mechanically by compressing a sealing ring onto the tube.
There are two types of compression joints:
- Type 'A' - non-manipulative, for general use above ground on half-hard tube
- Type ‘B’ - manipulative, for use underground or above ground on soft coiled thick wall tube.
For technical details on compression jointing see the Installation Tip.
